The Covid Crusades

  On a recent Joe Rogan podcast, Dr. Robert Malone suggested with regards to Covid-19 & the vaccines, much of the planet is suffering from a form of hypnosis known as “mass hysteria psychosis”.   A bold claim for sure, which begs the question: Who could possibly have the power to hypnotize the majority of the planet?  Even if there was such an entity, how could they do it? On the surface this hardly seems plausible; but the truth is - its actually quite easy. The ruling class has both the power and the means. They understand the key to hypnotizing (and thus controlling) the masses is to package the issue at hand as a Crusade. When packaged properly, the moral imperative and subsequent emotional hysteria of any crusade will trump facts, science, and reality - every time.

  Crusades are created for the purposes of dividing people, making them easier to control. The crusades are always framed as a moral argument between the forces of good, and the forces of evil.  Us and them.  The morally superior, and the amoral. Crusading brings with it a feeling of moral superiority, often too emotionally intoxicating for the common man to resist.  Consider the indignant manner with which the minimum wage clerk working at the corner store demands you pull your mask up over your nose.  The ruling class turns everything into a crusade, because crusades inject meaning & purpose into the lives of people who have little or none - like the clerk mentioned above.  While meaning & purpose for the masses might sound good, fact is they are a red herring designed to distract the masses from the continued expansion of power & control by the ruling class.

  Crusades are always fueled by emotion. Logic, facts, and results are conveniently dismissed in favor of piety. Consider climate change, aka the environmental crusade. The environmentalists are quick to protest new pipelines, ignoring the discordant fact the carbon footprints generated by the trains & semis left to haul the gas/oil will be orders of magnitude greater than any pipeline. Environmentalists are eager to shut down nuclear power plants, ignoring the discordant fact nuclear energy is the cleanest, cheapest, safest and most abundant form of energy on the planet - and its not even close. Sad, but true, facts simply do not matter when crusading.

    It is bad enough crusaders ignore inconvenient facts, but it is far worse when they continually ignore the results of their actions. Look no further than California where every year residents are terrorized by wildfires because environmentalists in California restrict controlled burns, as well as the clearing of underbrush. As a result, millions of acres are destroyed year after year by wildfires. Results, simply do not matter when crusading.

   With facts and results completely ignored by crusaders it becomes easy to see the value for the ruling class in packaging issues as a crusade. In effect, they are able to leverage the emotional frailty of the masses. Once enlisted in a given cause, the behavior of the masses can be easily controlled by the prevailing narrative, no matter how bereft of logic that narrative may be.

   Bagholder can think of no better modern day example of a ruling class generated crusade, than covid vaccines.  Divisiveness, moral superiority, emotional hysteria, and good vs. evil - it is all there. What makes this issue particularly compelling as a crusade, is the stakes have been raised. Normally there is only an emotional investment on the part of the crusader. In this case, there is a physical commitment as well - namely rolling up your sleeve for an experimental vaccine, which may or may not have long term consequences.

  The increase in stakes provides the ruling class with extra leverage when it comes to pushing a narrative. They can be more brazen with their lies.  The masses, who have already taken the vaccine, are committed both emotionally and physically. Consequently, they will accept those lies as gospel, just as if they were coming from the burning bush. It is staggering the lies the pro-vax crowd has swallowed already just from Biden & Fauci. Here are just a few:

“14 days to flatten the curve”

“Lockdowns are necessary”

“Wearing a mask prevents transmission”

“The vaccines are safe and effective”

“This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated”

“Taking the vaccine is the path back to normalcy”

“There is no proof Ivermectin has any efficacy”

“Boosters will keep you protected”

“Children should be vaccinated.

Lie after lie after lie.

   There is a mountain of evidence all of those statements by Biden & Fauci are patently false. Presenting the evidence to any of the pro-vax crusaders that the vaccines are an abject failure will never be met with science or facts, because there is no science or facts which show they work. You will be met with name calling, emotional hysteria, and/or moral indignation. Those are the only weapons the crusaders have.

   The bright side of this, is all crusades - no matter the issue - will end. The truth cannot be suppressed indefinitely.  Make no mistake, history will not be kind to the pro-vax crowd. In fact, if recent reports are any indication, how history judges them, might not be their biggest problem. The long term side effects (myocarditis, immunodeficiencies, pericarditis - just to name a few) are starting to make themselves known. Sorry to say, things are not going to end well for the pro-vax crowd.

   Wish I could say the same for the ruling class. Unfortunately, they will wring every drop of power and control they possibly can by fomenting this crusade. Once they have all they can get, they will drop this crusade, generate another, and start the cycle anew.  Frightening.
