I wonder if this a partial explanation for how big companies can go along with the green agenda. Sure, they get sweetheart loans, but there has to be a way to compensate for fewer items sold. Perhaps they think all they have to do is raise the price on items to compensate for fewer items sold in order to maintain their profit levels. Easy peasy. Could they be that stupid?

I am of the opinion the green agenda is just a tool of the big corporations to stifle competition. I knew someone who owned a Deli, and had Gman walk into his shop one day and tell him his walk-in freezer was inefficient and not up to code, because it used too much electricity. It would need to be replaced - at a cost of 80k (and this was 8-9 years ago) plus permits, inspection fees, and shutting down while the work took place. He was out of business a month later. When small businesses disappear because they can’t afford to meet the absurd requirements of the green agenda, the big corporations can then raise prices with impunity.
