Never read him before - i just went and read his Jon Stewart post, liked it a lot. Funny, I've been meaning to do a post on the negative impact of CRT - think I will get that out later this week. Thanks for the recommendation.
I like AS also, but don't always get to him, M. RJF. Can you tell me if AS has indicated any changes/updates/addenda he would make to this opinion piece, considering this past eventful year?
Yes I hesitate to comment, I’m not sure if he’s revised “why woke has won”, I read almost everything he writes and I don’t see anything in conflict with it
I add my own penny:
Skepticism of all things, including one's own perceptions.
Freethinking of and from basic principles.
Constant re-visiting (with skepticism!) of those individually arrived-at basic principles.
Allow others to disagree (and make differing views part of one's freethinking/re-visiting).
Yes, you simply can not grow as human being without questioning your beliefs.
Perfect. Unlikely, but perfect.
"Unlikely"
Yes, but they are general goals, and we are human, so I'll add one more.
Forgive others AND oneself for the inevitable imperfection in implementation.
Forgiveness always a good policy and yes in both directions
Bagman, I’ve sent this to about 10 people, it is syrupy smooth and perfectly explained. Well done indeed.
Thanks for the kind words.... Much more fun to write, when you know there are folks out there who appreciate it.
You communicate well. Do you read Andrew Sullivan? He is my favourite substack writer in terms of his writing style and you approach it.

I highly encourage you to read his post “why woke is winning” from about a year ago I believe it is seminal
