Very entertaining a pleasurable read. I bet they’ve assigned someone to follow Biden to make sure he doesn’t pee on plants at the White House. What a shameful display he is.
what he did in saudi is even worse than what you report, all he did was ask for a delay in cutting oil till after the mid terms, he doesnt care about peoples economic struggles
There's more than enough that's been "put on tape", as the coach of my favorite football team (Pittsburgh Steelers) is fond of saying, to sink any administration in a sane, fair, transparent, honest world.
The one that burns me more than anything is Afghanistan. I don't want to be the world police and think the Bush years did tremendous, permanent damage to our own sovereignty, and at some point, we needed to pull out of there. However, we needed actual adults to do something as sensitive and complex as this, not toddlers with news outlets to cover for them.
If you haven't seen the Joe Rogan clip with Tim Kennedy on this, please watch:
There has been crickets. The failure is of epic proportions, and it's evident to anyone with the slightest modicum of critical thinking.
The bigger problem for us though is that I believe this is all just a managed decline of the United States. Since day 1 of COVID, we've witnessed a managed collapse. They could never just come in, nuke LA and NYC, and then roll their UN tanks down Broadway. Too dramatic, and I would say even the most moderate to left fringe would take up arms and sing God Bless America as we fired up the factories. It's always had to be a managed decline, and that's what they've done across the board over the last 2 years with alacrity. Joe Biden has been the perfect puppet to do that.
Yeah, I had always kind of expected a "collapse" would shake things up - but it seems we are in for more of a "withering" than a collapse.... Biden is the perfect puppet - you don't even need to look closely to see the strings - they are obvious.
People in positions of authority no longer have a monopoly on information, we all see what they see or at least we see enough to question them in a substantive way. With this purview we see that they screwup then they obfuscate and bullshit, and we rightly hold them in contempt . So, Yes failing grades for Joe Biden, but Gandhi, Mandela, Churchill, Lincoln they would all be run out of town.
We are ungovernable: Christ, Mohamed, The Buddha, nope!
All authority is delegitimized. Governance is rejected as a legitimate use of power; Power differentials are evidence of unfairness and oppression. If power differentials are inherently evil and to be redressed then we are lost, we drift aimlessly when governance is vilified.
While i agree with the idea we are ungovernable, i do not agree with the premise we have the same information as those in authority. In fact, their control over the dissemination of information is one of this country's biggest problems. The information/narrative we get as plebes, is tightly scripted and designed to ping our confirmation bias. In the rare event, anyone steps outside the narrative & provides us with any info on what is actually happening in the world - they are swiftly & severely punished - a la Snowden & Assange.

My take, we are ungovernable.

Solid. We have the illusion of knowing what’s going on and it makes us ornery.
